Created by Marvel, The Guardians of the Galaxy are a ragtag team of misfits, thrown together with the sole purpose of protecting the Galaxy against the forces of evil. Gamora, the last surviving member of the Zen-Whoberi, was adopted by evil tyrant Thanos and raised to be the most dangerous women in the galaxy. Tired of the horrific acts she was ordered to commit in her adopted fathers name she turned against him. She now uses her elite skills to fight for good as part of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Produced under official Marvel license, the Gamora commemorative is plated in 24-carat gold. The reverse of the commemorative is brought to life by Gamora on raised metal and in full colour, in her fighting stance. The obverse features the official Guardians of the Galaxy logo.
